He has 21 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, 21 years in Stockbroking and 18 years in Derivatives. Previous employers include:
De Witt Morgan Securities, Sanlam Wealth Management, BOE Stockbrokers,T-sec and Anchor Capital who currently manages funds in excess of R50 billion.
Fransoa was the founder of Anchor Capital, the main subsidiary of JSE listed Anchor Group and served as Director and Head of Trading and Compliance from 2009 - 2015.
After leaving Anchor, he sold a portion of his shareholding in the business and subsequently started Baywater. Fransoa has a BA Degree from the University of Pretoria, his Registered Securities Trader qualification through the JSE, an ICMQ through the London Securities Institute, the Registered Persons Exam and SAFEX Senior Dealer qualification through the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM). He also holds two Masters Degrees, a Master di Primo Livello Degree in Banking and Finance through the Universita Telematica Uninettuno in Italy and a MSc Degree in Finance and Investment through the Geneva Business School in Switzerland.
Over the past 20 years, Fransoa has acquired a unique set of skills in the fund management, administration, settlement and compliance side of the financial services industry, his wealth of experience and high level of work ethic is a great contribution to the success of the business.

Having served on the Board of the Association of Representatives for the Electronics Industry for two years, contributed greatly to his Corporate Management abilities. Duane has a Registered Securities Trader qualification through the JSE. With a proven track record of business enhancement, he demonstrates a specific and detailed understanding of developing, nurturing and driving profitable results whilst displaying a personality that encompasses maturity, balance, creativity and innovation.

JACO MALAN

Starting his career in 2003 as an Analyst in the Soft Commodities Derivatives Market, he moved on to become a Financial and Agricultural Derivatives Trader.

He has been actively trading various Derivative Markets over the past 10 years achieving great success and enabling him to acquire a very unique approach to advanced technical analysis and the ability to adopt to adverse market volatility changes. LOURENS WEENINK
Fund Manager and member of the Investment Committee
Having started his career in the engineering field, his systems orientated mindset approach, assisted him greatly in developing various profitable trading systems and strategies.
These strategies range across various financial markets including Equity, Foreign Exchange, Commodities and Index futures. The strategy models follow a systematic approach with multiple filters that apply strict risk management principles. They vary across multiple time frames and horizons taking advantage of short term market opportunities but also allowing for participation in macro trends. Trading across various markets, multiple instruments and time frames provides for a more diversified and risk adverse trading strategy. Lourens holds an Engineering Degree (Industrial and Systems Engineering) from the University of Pretoria and is currently studying towards a CFA qualification having passed his Level 1 exam.

BRENT ROEBERT
Trader and Member ofthe Investment Committee
He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) through CIMA and AICPA, excelling academically through the course.
After completing a B.Comm Financial Management degree from the University of Pretoria, Brent started his corporate career in finance in 2012 as a Cost Accountant and worked his way up to Financial Manager within 3 years. He has conducted various case work studies for Deloitte Consulting, and Bain & Co. Although Brent has been partially involved in equity markets for over 10 years, he started to apply his keen analytical eye to it full time in 2016 when he founded and operated his own segregated discretionary company and traded with Storm Trading. During this time he developed and refined multiple unique equity trading methods and found a passion for global economics and their impact on fixed income and equity markets. Brent’s qualifications and experience give him an edge in reading the story behind the numbers. Brent specialises in both a fundamental and technical approach to equities and has a strong proven track record of identifying, executing, and managing alpha equity trades with high annual returns.
